What is Trunk-or-Treat? Trunk-or-Treat is a fun, safe way for children to go trick-or-treating. Individuals or groups register their automobile, are issued a parking space and hand out Halloween treats from the trunk of their vehicle. Participants are encouraged to get into the Halloween “spirit” by decorating their vehicles because prizes will be awarded. Registrations are now being accepted for trunk-or-treat spots. Space is limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. In order for this to be a success, we need a minimum of 30 “car” participants. Important Note: For the safety of the trick-or-treaters, vehicles must arrive at the I.E.F. School parking lot no later than 6:00 p.m. Trunk-or-treating will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Automobile Registration To participate, please send an e-mail to Mrs. Cathy Yanes, physical education teacher at GBMS requesting a parking spot. Requests must be received no later than Wednesday, October 21, 2009. When your request is received, Mrs. Yanes will send you an electronic registration form to be completed and brought with you to the event. A registration form must be completed for each participating car. If you have any questions or do not have access to e-mail, please phone Mrs. Yanes at (732) 968-1051, ext. 5072 and leave a message.
